Accellos Earns 2013 Green Supply Chain Award from Supply & Demand Chain Executive
Magazine recognizes companies making green, or sustainability, a core part of their supply chain strategy.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – November 18, 2013 – Accellos, a leading provider of supply chain execution software solutions, today announced their inclusion in the 2013 Green Supply Chain Awards article by Supply & Demand Chain ExecutiveSupply & Demand Chain Executive’s Green Supply Chain Awards recognize small, mid-size and large enterprises that have leveraged a variety of sustainable approaches—including technology, strategies and solutions—that companies are employing, and spotlights concrete results that many of these leaders witness due to their sustainable efforts.  The award was given based on case studies of Accellos customers. The featured customers include Transportation and Logistical Services, Inc.  of Atlanta, GA and Sona Enterprises of Santa Fe Springs, CA.  Transportation and Logistical Services, Inc. is running Accellos’ Prophesy DispatchSeries transportation management software (TMS), while Sona Enterprises runs AccellosOne Warehouse Management System (WMS).

The 2013 Green Supply Chain Awards recognize companies making green or sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy, and are working to achieve measurable sustainability goals within their own operations and/or supply chains, in the areas of Sourcing/Procurement, Fulfillment/Logistics, Operations, Product Lifecycle Management, and other areas of the supply chain. The awards also recognize providers of supply chain solutions and services assisting their customers in achieving measurable sustainability goals. Submissions were judged based on the clarity and content of the goals and strategy (30 percent), the extent of the steps being taken (30 percent), the impact of the results to date and projected results (30 percent), and the form and presentation of the information submitted (10 percent). Supply & Demand Chain Executive received almost 100 entries for the 2013 Green Supply Chain Award.
