AccellosOne Enterprise 3PL customer Europa Worldwide Logistics announces nomination
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – February 18, 2014 – Accellos, a leading provider of supply chain execution software solutions, today announced that AccellosOne Enterprise 3PL customer, Europa Worldwide Logistics (Northampton) was chosen as a European Supply Chain Excellence Awards 2013 Finalist. Europa was chosen as an award finalist based on improvements made to the business over the last 18 months including the addition of new technology (AccellosOne Enterprise 3PL Warehouse Management System) and new layout design.
Europa was judged according to a series of criteria including; Supply Chain Strategy, Innovation, Process and Systems Architecture, Organization, Performance Management, Collaboration, Enthusiasm and Passion, Commitment of Senior Management, Scope and Magnitude of Change/Achievement and Evidence of Results. Europa successfully went through two judging stages and was invited to the Awards Ceremony. The first stage was a completion of an extensive report after which Europa was shortlisted in the category of Consumer Products. The second stage was a face-to-face presentation meeting to expand on the entry. The judges’ assessment approach was focused around the five core disciplines of strategy, performance management, processes, organization and collaboration.
Comments from the judging panel included, “Good project, well presented and interesting supply chain case. The evolution of the supply chain processes was sound with interesting developments going on to support the growth of the business.”
